The BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis
The Diploma is made up of four BCS accredited courses — two core modules, one knowledge-based module and one practitioner module — plus a final oral examination. Each course can be completed in around 30 hours and studied fully online at your own pace.

BCS Practitioner Certificate in Business Analysis Practice
Covers how to develop business strategy and use business analysis techniques to discover issues — including stakeholder analysis, process modelling, making the business case and identifying solutions.
Core Module
BCS Practitioner Certificate in Requirements Engineering
Covers the requirements engineering process — eliciting requirements, communicating with stakeholders, writing user stories, managing requirements and understanding the roles of business and customer needs.
Knowledge Based Module
BCS Foundation Certificate in Business Analysis
Foundational business analysis knowledge — investigative techniques, stakeholder management, making the business case, identifying improvement options, documenting and managing requirements.
Practitioner Module
BCS Practitioner Certificate in Modelling Business Processes
Covers business process modelling techniques — modelling and documenting processes, evaluating improvements, and understanding the organisational context in which processes operate.
Final Stage: Oral Examination
Once all four modules are passed, you'll sit an oral examination conducted by two BCS examiners — taken online, lasting around 50 minutes. It assesses your ability to apply business analysis techniques to real-world scenarios. The included Oral Exam Preparation Workshop is designed specifically to get you ready for this.
