The qualification explained

AgilePM® Practitioner is the advanced qualification in the AgilePM series, built on the DSDM Agile Project Framework and certified by APMG International. Where Foundation tests whether you understand AgilePM, Practitioner tests whether you can use it — applying and tailoring the principles, roles, and lifecycle to a real project scenario and justifying the calls you make.

You’ll need to hold AgilePM Foundation (v2 or v3) before you sit the Practitioner exam — it’s the entry requirement set by APMG. If you don’t have it yet, start with our AgilePM Foundation course, or save with the AgilePM Foundation and Practitioner bundle shown in the pricing below.

Practitioner is the level that moves you from contributing to agile projects to leading them. Launching a customer portal in 90 days with evolving requirements

A SaaS company needed a new customer portal, but the exact features kept changing as users gave feedback. Using AgilePM, the team fixed the deadline and budget and flexed the scope instead. What to Expect on Exam Day

You sit the exam online through APMG International’s remote invigilation platform. Here’s the full process, from booking to results.

Booking

When you feel ready, contact your account manager. We handle the booking with APMG International and confirm your exam date, time, and joining instructions — usually within 5–10 working days.

Equipment required

You need a laptop or desktop computer (not a mobile or tablet), a working webcam and microphone, and a stable internet connection.

On the day

Log in 15 minutes before your scheduled start. The invigilator will verify your identity using photo ID and ask you to scan your room. The 150-minute timer then begins. You may use the official AgilePM handbook throughout — it’s open book — but no other notes or materials are permitted.

Results

You get a provisional pass or fail result as soon as you finish. Your official APMG International certificate and digital badge follow shortly after, with your result available in your APMG candidate portal.

Rescheduling

If you need to reschedule, contact us at least 48 hours before your exam time. We will arrange a new date at no additional charge.
