What courses do I receive?
You’ll receive 12 months of unlimited access to the accredited Scrum Essentials, AgilePM Foundation, and AgilePM Practitioner (version 3) courses. However, these AgilePM courses can be completed in a much shorter time, averaging around 30 hours per course. This can also vary depending on whether or not you have previous project management experience and how quickly you digest information.
You’ll start with the Scrum Essentials course — a short and simple intro to Agile principles and terminology. It’s a required part of your journey, but don’t worry, the exam is completely optional, and you can still move on to AgilePM® Foundation without taking it.
Scrum Essentials Course
Learn to effectively plan, execute, and deliver projects using Scrum frameworks and tools. Understand core concepts like Sprint planning, Daily Standups, and Sprint Reviews while gaining hands-on experience with backlog management and user stories.
The focus of the Foundation level AgilePM online course is about teaching the theoretical knowledge. Making sure you have understood the Agile method before you look to start applying it at the Practitioner level.
AgilePM Foundation Course
This Agile Foundation course will cover the philosophy, principles, and techniques of the AgilePM project management method. Once officially certified, you can begin working in roles such as project-coordinator, project support or project administrator. All roles supporting the project manager, offering your first opportunity to work within a team and start building experience. The Agile PM Foundation level course has no prerequisites, meaning anyone can enrol.
The objective for the PRINCE2 Practitioner level course is the application of your knowledge, how does it translate in the real-world.
AgilePM Practitioner Course
This online course follows on from the Foundation level by shifting the emphasis from theory to application. You will learn how to apply the AgilePM practices to a project, using the various approaches, such as MoSCow and workshops. Generally, this course takes a little longer to work through than the Foundation, as it requires more thinking and applying than learning. That said, it will all vary on your ability to learn and any previous experience you may have. Once you have completed this online course and official examination, you will be internationally recognised as a "AgilePM Registered Practitioner".
