An Agile project manager leads delivery in short, iterative cycles rather than against a single fixed plan. Instead of locking scope up front, they help a team ship working increments, gather feedback, and adapt — while still managing budget, timelines and stakeholders.
Day to day the work blends classic delivery management with Agile facilitation: setting up and protecting the cadence (sprints, stand-ups, reviews), prioritising a backlog with the product owner, removing blockers, and keeping stakeholders aligned as priorities shift. Frameworks like AgilePM® (DSDM) and PRINCE2® Agile give that work a recognised structure.
