ITIL® 4 Leader: Digital and IT Strategy (DITS) is an ITIL 4 Strategic Leader module from PeopleCert. It moves beyond service management into the boardroom — covering how to craft and execute a digital strategy: responding to digital disruption, operating effectively in VUCA (volatile, uncertain, complex, ambiguous) conditions, shaping operating models, and aligning IT strategy with overall business strategy.

The module goes deep on the leadership realities of digital change — managing strategic risk and finances, building the right operating and governance structures, evaluating emerging technology, and sustaining a strategy once it is in motion. The emphasis is on direction-setting and execution, not day-to-day operations.

What to Expect on Exam Day

You sit the exam online through PeopleCert’s remote proctoring platform. Here’s the full process, from booking to results.

Booking

When you feel ready, contact your account manager. We handle the booking with PeopleCert and confirm your exam date, time, and joining instructions — usually within 5–10 working days.

Equipment required

You need a laptop or desktop computer (not a mobile or tablet), a working webcam and microphone, and a stable internet connection.

On the day

Log in 15 minutes before your scheduled start. The invigilator will verify your identity using photo ID and ask you to scan your room. The 60-minute timer then begins. No notes or materials are permitted — the exam is closed book.

Results

You get a provisional pass or fail result as soon as you finish. Your official PeopleCert certificate follows within a few working days and is added to PeopleCert’s register of successful candidates.

Rescheduling

If you need to reschedule, contact us at least 48 hours before your exam time. We will arrange a new date at no additional charge.
